Country ETFs are available on many of the key developed and developing nations with growing or established economies.   Industry ETFs are broad in scope and generally aim to invest in the largest company stocks in that country by market capitalization.  Country ETFs may also have currency risk exposures so this is something the investor should consider carefully when investing in countries outside of their home currency.  Rapid changes in foreign exchange curency rates can magnify your gains or losses, so it is another factor to consider when investing in Country ETFs.  Long term investors that hold a basket of Country ETFs across several currencies usually find that over the long term these currency changes offset each other.
